Marble: standing the test of time

One of the hottest interior design trends of 2017, this timeless stone has also found its way into fashion, and neubau is coming out with three new frames inspired by its alluring motive.

By now we’ve all probably noticed that marble is everywhere. A quick look at your Instagram feed should do. We can also all agree that it’s nothing new, more like it has been around for centuries. Its use in architecture, art and design was already employed by the early Egyptian and Mesopotamian cultures, and the Greeks seemed to be pretty fond of it too and with good reason; their majestic edifications and sculptures still stand to this day. Marble is one of the few materials that goes beyond eras, and it’s earned its place as a symbol of refined taste and sophistication. One of the hottest interior design trends of 2017, this timeless stone has also found its way into fashion, and neubau is coming out with three new frames inspired by its alluring motive. We invite you to meet Sandra, Frank and Jannis and to go along with it, below we’ve curated a little selection of marble pieces, to showcase how interdisciplinary this trend is.
