Dress like your favorite art icon... in just one step!

These well-known art icons are not only associated with their famous works of art... they’re also famous for their signature glasses. Which artist should become your style role model? Find out how to dress like your favorite artist, in one easy step!

Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol is one of the most famous artists of our time. He was, among other things, a filmmaker, publisher and one of the most important founders of the American pop art movement. The graphic artist and illustrator has left his mark on many works of art, graphics and the wardrobe of thousands of people to this day. When you think of Warhol, you don’t just think of Marilyn Monroe on a pink background — her look goes down in history itself. The all-rounder made grey hair en vogue, defined the black turtleneck sweater as an artist must-have and his transparent glasses were indispensable.

What new eyewear style would Andy Warhol wear today? Clearly Pierre in Crystal Clear. You can’t get more Warhol than that.

Keith Haring

Keith Haring was the street artist among the artists. He was inspired by the graffiti scene, showing in his clear lines, which dominated his works of art, and influenced the graffiti scene in turn with his iconic designs. Haring was also one of the most important representatives of pop art and his interpretations still lead the way today. And who is behind these designs? Keith Haring was a passionate glasses wearer who did not adopt a signature frame. Instead, he always switched around, but his glasses always had one thing in common — they were always round.

Which glasses would he choose at neubau eyewear? We would recommend Keith our extravagant and circular Style Flo.

Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono is a Japanese-American artist who made a name for herself even before she married John Lennon in the 1960s. She appeares as a peace and human rights activist, and is a member of the Fluxus movement, which opposes elitist art and is a form of concept art. This flowing relationship between art and life understands different types of art as a total work in itself.

Ono’s exciting personality is reflected in her extravagant selection of sunglasses. Yoko Ono would probably wear all neubau eyewear’s sunglasses, but we recommend a deep black, round classic.
